Manual Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate conventional lathes to perform machining operations
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to understand job requirements
• Complete all necessary paperwork for each job, ensuring accuracy and documentation
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, following safety protocols
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the trade
• Proficiency in setting up and operating conventional lathes and mills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for custom parts machining
• Strong mathematical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Pay rate–Salary: $25-$28/hr
