Job Responsibilities:
– Reviewing production orders and batch sheets to determine the materials and quantities needed for each batch.
– Gathering and measuring the required raw materials, following precise measurements and formulas.
– Mixing and blending raw materials according to specified instructions or recipes.
– Operating and maintaining equipment used in the batching process, such as mixers, scales, and blenders.
– Monitoring and adjusting process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and mixing time, to ensure batch consistency and quality.
– Conducting quality checks and tests on the batched product to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
– Recording and documenting batch information, including materials used, batch size, and any deviations or adjustments made during the process.
– Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas between batches to prevent cross-contamination.
– Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
– Collaborating with production supervisors, quality control personnel, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of batches.
– Troubleshooting equipment or process issues and making necessary adjustments or reporting them to maintenance personnel.
